Screamz Event Manager ("Screamz", "we", "us") is an event management application that lets organizers create events and send SMS event invitations, RSVP confirmations, and event updates to contacts who have opted in. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

• Account information for organizers: your name, email address, and a hashed password.
• Contact information for invitees: name, mobile phone number, and optionally an email address and notes, added by an organizer who has invited you to an event.
• Event activity: events you create or are invited to, your RSVP responses, and message delivery status.

How we use your information

We use your information solely to operate the service: to send event invitations, collect RSVPs, and send occasional updates about events you have been invited to. We do not use your information for advertising or unrelated marketing.

SMS / text messaging

If you provide a mobile number, you may receive text messages related to event invitations, RSVP confirmations, and event updates. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message, or HELP for help.

How we obtain your consent: Screamz is used to coordinate private, personal events. You provide your mobile number directly to the organizer — in person or by phone — and agree to receive event text messages before any message is sent. The organizer enters your number manually; numbers are never purchased, rented, scraped, or shared. The first message is a one-time confirmation asking you to reply YES, and no further messages are sent unless you do. Your consent and mobile number are used only to operate this service and are not shared with third parties for their own marketing.

We do not sell your personal information. Mobile phone numbers and SMS consent are used only to operate this service and are never shared, sold, or rented to third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Text messages are delivered through our messaging provider (Twilio) acting on our behalf solely to transmit these messages.

Sharing

We share information only with service providers that help us run Screamz (such as our hosting and SMS delivery providers), and only as needed to provide the service, or when required by law.

Data retention

We keep your information for as long as you participate in the group. You may ask us to remove your contact record at any time using the contact details below.

Your choices

• Reply STOP to any text to stop receiving messages.
• Ask the organizer or contact us to update or delete your information.
