These terms govern your use of Screamz Event Manager ("Screamz"), an event management application for creating events, sending SMS event invitations, and collecting RSVPs. By using Screamz or receiving messages from it, you agree to these terms.

The service

Screamz lets an organizer create events, manage a contact address book, send SMS invitations, and collect RSVPs. Recipients opt in before receiving messages and can opt out at any time by replying STOP.

SMS messaging program

• Program description: Screamz sends event invitations, RSVP confirmations, and event updates to people an organizer has invited.
• How you opt in: Screamz is used to coordinate private, personal events. You give your mobile number directly to the organizer — in person or by phone — and agree to receive event text messages before any message is sent. The organizer then enters your number manually. Numbers are never purchased, rented, scraped, or shared. The first message you receive is a one-time confirmation asking you to reply YES; no further messages are sent unless you do.
• Message frequency: varies based on event activity. You will typically receive messages only around events you are invited to.
• Cost: Screamz does not charge for messages, but message and data rates may apply from your mobile carrier.
• Opt-out: reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts. You will receive a confirmation and no further messages unless you opt back in.
• Help: reply HELP to any message, or contact us using the details below.
• Carriers: supported carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Acceptable use

Use Screamz only to coordinate events with people who have agreed to be contacted. Do not use it to send unsolicited, unlawful, or harassing messages.

No warranty

Screamz is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that messages will be delivered or that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Screamz and its operator are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
